At Your Service is a for-profit collaborative zine project based around the series Boku No Hero Academia and the theme of maids and butlers. From regal historical AUs, drawing rooms and afternoon tea, to quirky and bubbly maid cafes we want to explore it all! Plus, who wouldn't want to see our favorite characters dressed up in maid and butler outfits? We hope you join us on our creative journey!At Your Service is a SFW for-profit zine which may have a nsfw add-on depending on the results of our upcoming interest check.

-Page Artists are required to complete 1 full page piece of art for this zine.
-We will be offering the opportunity to create more pages/spreads for interested participants.Spot Artist
-Spot Artists will be expected to create 2-3 smaller spot illustrations in collaboration with one of our Writing Contributors.
-Spot Artists may also have the opportunity to create spot illustrations for more than one fic, or to create a full page illustration.Comic Artist
-Comic Artists will be expected to make one comic in full colour.
-The comic will be 2-4 pages. The length is up to the creator’s discretion.Merch Artists
Digital Merch
-Digital Merch Artists will be expected to create 2-3 pieces of digital merch, including Discord Emote Packs, Wallpapers for phone and computer, Icons, digital colouring pages and printable merch, etc.

As an Art Applicant for ‘At Your Service’, your work will be judged on your knowledge of anatomy, perspective, composition, colour theory, and personal style.Please choose examples you feel best reflect the kind of artwork you would like to make for our zine!Remember, you must be over 18 to apply to ‘At Your Service’.Portfolio requirement for Page Artists/Spot Artists:
-3 art pieces showcasing the best of your artistic abilities.
-If applying for a position as an NSFW creator, at least one sample must be NSFW
-At least 1 art piece must have a complete background, full shading, and colouring.
-At least one of your pieces must feature a character from BNHAPortfolio requirement for Comic Artists:
-Comic artists will be expected to include one or more pages of previous comics in their application, but full page illustrations will also be considered.
-If applying for a position as an NSFW creator, at least one sample must be NSFW

As a Writer Applicant for ‘At Your Service’, your work will be judged on your grammar, flow, ability to tell a story within a given word limit, characterisation, and general writing style.Please choose examples you feel best reflect the kind of fic you would like to make for our zine!-Writers will be expected to create 1-2 pieces for this zine, each 2-3k words.
-Writers may have the opportunity to collaborate with another writer or artist.
-Fics created MUST be centered around BNHAWriter Application Guidelines:
Remember, you must be over 18 to apply to ‘At Your Service’.-Writer Applicants must provide three samples of their writing. For each sample, the word count will be 2k-3k.
-All samples must be SFW if applying for the main zine. NSFW fics will not be considered.
-If you are applying for the NSFW add-on, then one fic sample must be NSFW.
-At least one sample must feature a character from BNHA
-If any of your samples are SFW but still contain potentially triggering or mature topics, please make sure that they contain visible tags.
-NSFW content must be tagged and with visible content warningsPortfolio links are welcome. Carrd, Ao3, FF.net and Google Drive are preferred. What is a zine?

A zine (pronounced like a shortened form of “magazine”) is a collection of artwork and fanfiction, brought together in one collected work. It is a fan project where people who enjoy the piece of media the zine is focused on can create work based on the series!

What are the zine specifications?

-SFW with a NSFW PDF add-on
-Will feature ships
The number of contributors, and whether the zine will be physical or digital as well as free or for profit, will be determined after the interest checks have closed.

Are AUs allowed?

Yes, AUs as well as canon-compliant material are welcome.

Are spoilers allowed?

Spoilers will be allowed.

How will contributors be compensated?

This will once again depend on the results of our interest checks. We aim to compensate contributors with at least a free PDF of our zine. If sales progress and we can provide free copies of the zine to each contributor, we would love to do so. Any further profits will be split equally between all mods and contributors.

Who is allowed to apply?

This is a SFW and NSFW project and you must be 18 years or older to participate in this zine.

What will not be allowed in the NSFW Add On (Digital)?

Why is Underage not allowed?

Underage content will not be allowed in the zine due to the legal restrictions in place for some mods in their respective countries.

Will I require a Discord to participate?

Discord is our key method of communication. If you do not have a Discord account and wish to participate, you will be expected to create one.

Do I need previous zine experience to apply?

Absolutely not! Everyone starts somewhere, and we welcome newcomers to apply.

Can I apply for more than one position?

Yes, you’re more than welcome to apply for more than one position, provided you’re confident you can handle the increased workload.
